The very first CHS Swim Team was started back in 1972 under the direction of Gene Weber. Members included: Chris Bettinger, Mike Pax, Joe Boeke, John Buening, Mike Weber, John Giere, Tom Buening, Kurt Grieshop and Dan Harlamert. The team existed only two years. |

The existing team has been making a big splash each and every year since 1994. |

The team has sent entries to District every year of existence. |

On April 10, 2001 The Coldwater Exempted Village Board of Education unanimously voted to recognize Swimming as a Varsity Sport!! |

Cav Swimmers are Members of the Ohio High School Athletic Association. |
