Schedule

No swimmer or diver shall utilize the facilities of the BGSU Cooper Pool 30 days prior to the District Meet, January 17th, 2006 –February 16th, 2006. Any violation of this regulation will result in the disqualification of the swimmer and diver. This does not apply to any team (or athlete) that uses Cooper Pool as their regular practice site during the season.

All divisions will follow the timeline below with Division II Girls competing on Thursday February 16^th, Division I Boys on Friday February 17^th, and Division I Girls on Saturday February 18^th.

The pool will be closed to all contestants and the building will be cleared at the conclusion of each competition on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday.

Facility (Cooper Pool)

	Cooper Pool has fully automatic COLORADO timing and judging system.
	Two one-meter maxi diving boards.
	A horn start will be used.
	Water depth in the racing course is from 12 to 17 feet.

Awards

	Sectional – Sectional trophies will not be awarded.
	District – Individual awards will be presented to the first six places in each event. Trophies for the championship and runner-up teams and medals for the coach of championship and runner-up teams in each district will be presented.
	No other awards may be presented at the site of the Sectional or District tournaments, except for those furnished by the OHSAA.

Fees

	Managers: Diving Only $150.00, Swimming Only $250.00, Swimming/Diving $350.00
	Officials: Sectional $60.00 Referee/Starter, District – same (per session-3) .40 mileage one way

State Qualifiers

	District Tournaments are qualifying tournaments for the State Tournament.
	To enter a State Tournament, one must first qualify for that event in a District Tournament.
	Swim-offs are required in case of a tie for a qualifying position to the State Tournament.
	In the event of a swim-off for a qualifying position at a District Tournament, a swimmer, if disqualified, is eligible for the points for the District Tournament. The disqualification shall be noted on the District Tournament Results.
